Tequila Lime Chicken Recipe with Corn Salsa

Tequila Lime Chicken also known as Margarita Chicken is a dish that is jam-packed with flavor! Along with the Tequila Lime Chicken Recipe, we will also be making a side of Corn Salsa to compliment the chicken. Get your taste buds ready for some great flavors! 

What You’ll Need To Make Tequila Lime Chicken


The ingredients to make Tequila Lime Chicken includes:

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless & skinless
  • 5 juiced limes
  • 3/4 cup of tequila
  • 3/4 cup of orange juice
  • 1 deseeded jalapeno pepper
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 inch of ginger minced
  • 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke
  • Salt

What You’ll Need To Make Corn Salsa


The ingredients to make Corn Salsa includes:

  • 4 cups of fresh corn
  • 1 cup of red onion chopped fine
  • 1 cup of black beans
  • 1 Avocado chopped
  • 1/3 cup of Cilantro
  • 1/3 cup of fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Cumin powder
  • Salt 

How To Make Tequila Lime Chicken

Step 1:  For the marinade add the lime juice, orange juice, tequila, garlic, ginger, liquid smoke, and jalapeno into a large bowl

Step 2:   Add the chicken


Step 3:  Cover the large bowl with plastic wrap and place in fridge overnight or for 8 hours

 

Step 4:  Remove chicken from marinade and place on preheated grill at 375 degrees for 6-9 minutes on each side depending on chicken breast thickness until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees

How To Make Corn Salsa

Step 1:  In a large bowl add corn, red onion, black beans, avocado, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, white wine vinegar. 

Step 2:  Include spices such as chili powder and cumin powder and mix together with desired amount of salt 

Step 3:  Place in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving
